The Centre for Applied Media Production is proud to announce the 1st Annual Disc Golf Tournament!

Disc golf is becoming one of the fastest growing leisure sports in the world, and Thunder Bay has recently opened a professional 18 hole course on the North side of Boulevard Lake.  Click here to read Thunder Bay News Watch’s report on the local course.

Media students are invited to play a fun tournament of “Best Disc” on October 16th at 1 pm.  This team approach to the game closely mimics the rules of best ball from the golf game.  Teams will be created the day of the tournament and a shotgun start will happen when all teams are assembled.

To get an idea how the game is played, take a moment to watch the pros in action.

Important Information…

Date: Arrive at the course on October 16th between 12pm and 1 pm.

Location: Birch Point, Boulevard Lake. Click here for a Google Map to the course.

Cost: $10.  You get a Professional IDGA approved disc with CAMP and college logos, a lunch of sausages and a drink, and a shuttle from the college if required.

TRANSIT:  If you do not know how to get to Birch Point, be at the front of the college (not the side with the buses) at 12 pm on October 16th!
